On Saturday, April 5th, the winner of the 2008 Junior Stars competition was announced. The winner took home $69,000 in cash and prizes and the competition was fierce. There were 211 competitors from cosmetology schools across the country and only 11 finalists were chosen. Each competitor was given a mannequin head and was directed to style, color and apply makeup to complete a bridal look.

This prestigious honor was bestowed to Crystal Olson, representing TONI&GUY Academy in Scottsdale, AZ. Crystal’s win gives her opportunity to tour across the country representing TONI&GUY Academy. She will be working side by side with legendary hair Icon Jesse Briggs and featured in several Trade magazines.
