It's All About Success!

Shape Your Own Future
A
TONI&GUY education gives you the foundation to take your career
wherever you want to go - literally. Become a platform artist and
travel internationally, build a superstar portfolio, or set the next
trend. TONI&GUY graduates have gone on to style the hair of
celebrities and rock stars, get features in international magazines,
work on-set at fashion photo shoots and films, be interviewed by trade
publications, appear on makeover shows, and encounter many other
exciting opportunities.

Erie Academy students ...
Entering the competitive world,
have won top positions in local, regional, national and international
events. Labeled as the "Fiercest Hair Competition on the East Coast,"
the International Hair Show, held every May in New Jersey, produced a
number of top honors by TONI&GUY - Erie students Ashley Sedmak and
Kimberly Emery. Hailey Freidel, a TONI&GUY - Erie student from the
Washington, D.C. area, won 1st Place in Texarkana, TX then went on to
win 2nd Place in the Mid-West National Competition in Chicago, IL.

Annual Photographic Awards
Students have the opportunity
to enter their work into the prestigious TONI&GUY Photographic
Awards contest, which culminates at the industry renowned annual
TONI&GUY hair show, attended by several thousand students and
stylists from across the country. Darren Fagley, a TONI&GUY - Erie
Academy student, gained prominence in the 2005 TONI&GUY
Photographic Award with his winning style, Euro Model, which was published and distributed worldwide.

Other Success Stories

Dan McHenry had the opportunity to do hair styling for a segment of the MTV program Sweet 16
that was shot locally. He continues to head up the hair styling and
makeup for the North Coast Dance Conservatory's annual production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. After graduation, he opened his own hair salon, McHenry & Co.

Darren Fagley, who had his Euro Model style published
in the 2005 Photographic Awards, went on to become a stylist at the
TONI&GUY Salon in Pineville, NC, and is now in management at that
location.

2008 Runway Hair Fashion
            Show

Erie is an international community, so it is no
surprise that an international renowned TONI&GUY Hairdressing
Academy is located here. The level of confidence that TONI&GUY
students exhibit is evident in their freedom to creat hair styles. This
is best demonstrated at the annual Hair Show.

Student stylists
created their own hair fashions, which were displayed in a
full-scale competitive runway show. The show was presented to a
standing room only crowd of over 800 in the Avalon Presque Isle
Ballroom, complete with runway, lights, music and plenty of
excitement. Judges from leading area salons selected the
winners. Top winners, will be entered in the 2008 TONI&GUY
Photographic Awards, which will be held in LasVegas later this
            year.

function optimally. Hairdressing is no different, but quality equipment
is expensive and may take years for a hairdresser to acquire. Most
beginning hairdressers don’t have the money for quality tools and
equipment, leaving them at a disadvantage.

Because of our strong commitment to educating professionals, we
ensure that our students start with the best tools available to
hairdressers by requiring the purchase of a TONI&GUY Hairdressing
Academy student kit as part of the enrollment process. As a cosmetology
student at TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy you will use mannequins,
styling tools, and other equipment daily. All of these items are
included in our industry-leading student kits.

Your student kit includes all required books, professional quality
tools, and mannequins. During our cosmetology program, you receive
training on the safe and proper use of your tools and equipment. The
modern and state-of-the-art equipment in your kit offers you an “edge”
in your cosmetology training. Your student kit is a major investment in
your career and one more advantage that TONI&GUY Hairdressing
Academy offers its students.

Erie Academy Location

Erie Academy
930 Peach Street
Erie, PA 16501
1-800-775-4187
Contact the Academy

map / directions
