The Cosmetology Operator's program covers all areas of client relations, cutting, finishing, perming and coloring techniques, manicuring and facials. You will acquire a knowledge of the science of skin and hair which will lead on to the basics of hair cutting and finishing. Theory and practical sessions in product echnology, career development, goal setting and customer service have all been developed from a proven training program.
The Cosmetology Teacher program has developed a curriculum that allows you to experience the latest and most advanced approach to cosmetology training for those who would like to become a teacher. Lesson planning, curriculum development and delivery are a special part of this course, designed to give you a solid foundation in the process of transformation from a student into a successful instructor.
The Manicurist program will take you through the latest manicure, pedicure and acrylic application theory and practice with emphasis on available technology to ensure successful and dependable results. You may choose a career in providing nail services in a salon or spa. Nail Salons are an important source of employment in the industry. While manicurists are currently only 2.6% of the current industry employees, some 21% of the anticipated vacancies are for professionals with those skills. There are more Nail Salons than Barber Shops.
